Woman in her 70s suffers serious leg injury in Diss town centre crash

Investigations are continuing into a town centre crash that left a woman with a serious leg injury.
The pedestrian, aged in her 70s, was hit by a car outside Greggs in Mere Street, Diss on January 11 and had to be airlifted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the accident were on-going.

It was the second serious accident in Mere Street in a matter of months.
