A1066 in Bressingham set for closures during £35,000 roadworks




Drivers who use a key road in Bressingham will face overnight disruption next month as works are carried out.

Surface dressing works on the A1066, at Low Road, are set to start on August 8, with further disruption planned for August 12 and 20.

The road will be closed during the phased Norfolk County Council works, costing £35,000, with the project including surface dressing, line painting and renewal of cat’s eyes.

The work, which is weather dependant, will be carried out in phases, with road closures only be in place for a few hours at a time on:

• August 8: Stud removal, evening/overnight works 7pm-5am
• August 12: Main dressing, evening/overnight works 7pm-5am, road closure
• August 20: Lining/road stud replacement, evening/overnight works 7pm-5am, road closure.

Access to homes will be maintained throughout and a diversion will be in place.
