Diss Town handed trip to higher-league Newmarket Town in FA Vase
Diss Town will travel to face higher-league opposition in the second qualifying round of the 2021/22 Buildbase FA Vase.
The Tangerines, who famously won the competition at Wembley in 1994, have been handed a bye in the first qualifying round of the national competition.
However, they then face a tough challenge in the next round when they will head to the Tristel Stadium to take on Newmarket Town – a team many expect to be battling towards the top end of the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division next term.
Framlingham Town also come into the tournament at the same stage, with Liam Abraham's men on the road to Whittlesey Athletic.
Meanwhile, Debenham LC and Walsham-le-Willows will enter a round earlier, although both have home advantage.
Peterborough Northern Star will be the visitors for Guy Hayes' Debenham, while Walsham will welcome March Town United to Summer Road.
A Debenham win will see them travel to Step 5 outfit Kirkley & Pakefield, with Trevor Collins' Willows heading to either Wisbech St Mary or Great Yarmouth Town.
