Norwich City promoted back to the Premier League

Supporters of Norwich City are celebrating a return to the Premier League after a 2-0 victory at Wembley in the Championship play-off final.

Both goals came within the opening 15 minutes with Middlesbrough unable to recover.

Cameron Jerome fired Alex Neil’s side into a 12th-minute lead before Nathan Redmond added a second three minutes later.

It sees the Canaries, who overcame Ipswich Town in the semi-final, return to the top table of English football at the first attempt.
