CADAT aims to improve lives by offering advice, guidance and insight, and the charity works with people to navigate challenges and identify the best next steps.

The premises in Market Street offer increased visibility and accessibility, and features include a larger waiting area, triage pods as well as additional private consultation rooms, which are all designed to enhance the experience of those seeking support.

Mark Aryaeenia, chair of CADAT, is focused on helping the charity build long-term collaboration across sectors to expand its reach and impact across the region.

He said: “This move represents more than a new office. It’s a foundation for the next stage of our journey.

“Our mission is to grow community prosperity by connecting advice, opportunity and collaboration.

“The new premises bring together our people, volunteers, partners and services in one accessible space, helping us build stronger relationships and lasting impact across the district.”

The office also incorporates The Shelf, CADAT’s social supermarket, which is supported by the Norfolk Community Foundation and Nourishing Norfolk.

The Shelf provides a range of affordable groceries, helping local residents eat well despite rising food costs, and additionally helps redistribute surplus items that might otherwise go to waste.

Visitors can access practical help with food and essentials while also being connected to Citizens Advice’s wider services, including financial guidance, housing support and benefits advice.
