Diss Town bring in Tom Baird from Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side Mulbarton Wanderers

Diss Town have completed the signing of Tom Baird from higher-league Mulbarton Wanderers.

The midfielder has featured on 10 occasions for the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side this term, three of which have been from the start.

Baird also weighed in with one goal, which came during the 2-2 draw with Lakenheath in the Emirates FA Cup back in August.

A message on the Diss Twitter page read: "Both managers know the quality Tom has and are very happy to have Tom as a Tangie.

"We would like to thank @MulbartonFC in their assistance for making this happen smoothly."

Baird could be in line to make his Diss debut during Saturday's home encounter against Whittlesey Athletic (3pm).
