Scole care home goes back to the future for Comic Relief
People are invited to join staff and residents at a care home to celebrate Red Nose Day.
Oaklands Care Home in Norwich Road, Scole, will be open for visitors between 2pm and 4pm, tomorrow, March 15.
There will be entertainment from Caprice music duo and free refreshments.
Staff will be dressing up as celebrities from the 1960s, 70s and 80s, including Del Boy and Rodney, The Pink Ladies from Grease and Mary Poppins.
A home-made cake sale will raise money for Comic Relief.
Oaklands is a Grade-II listed building, with a new addition of a further 25 rooms.
It has 53 beds providing care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals within a safe and homely environment.
“It should be a great day and people are welcome to come along and celebrate with us,” said manager Ian Warrent, ahead of the event.
