Thieves caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a flint wall in Quidenham late last week, setting off a police appeal for help to track them down.

The incident occurred between 7.50am on Thursday and 2pm on Saturday, when around 40 old copping stones were stolen from the top of flint walls at an address on Quidenham Road.

Police would like to hear from anybody who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who may have been offered the stones for sale.

Those with relevant information should contact PCSO Helen Maxwell at Attleborough Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
