Diss vets practice hosts children's drawing competition

A veterinary practice is seeking drawings of cute cats, adorable dogs and glorious guinea pigs (and more) as part of a competition to spread some animal love.

Uplands Way Vets in Diss is inviting children under the age of 16 to draw their pet or another animal for the chance to win two tickets to either Banham Zoo or Africa Alive, once the sites reopen.

Rebecca Martin, 24, who organised the competition and works on reception at the practice, said: “With children spending more time at home, we thought it we would be fun to run a competition to help keep them occupied and hopefully encourage donations to the zoo as well.

“Some of our own staff have also been getting in to the spirit and have had a go at drawing their own pets for fun.”

To enter the competition, which runs until the end of February, email a photo of the drawing to equinevets@uplands
