One dead following house fire in Norfolk village

One person has died following a tragic house fire in Norfolk last night, Tuesday November 10.

Fire crews and police were called to an address in Loddon Road, Ditchingham at around 9.15pm after reports of a fire at a residential property.

Sadly one person within the premises has died.

Loddon Road was closed and a cordon put in place around the property as police worked with fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire.
