New Angel Cafe owners plan winter warmer menu
The Angel Cafe in Fair Green, Diss, has a new owners, with Rachel and Jamie Aitken taking over from Jane Trippett-Jones.
The couple, who also run The Forge Cafe in Eye, reopened the town business earlier this month.
Rachel said: “It’s been brilliant, everyone has been so welcoming.”
Whilst serving popular favourites such as a full English breakfast and scones, they are planning a colourful and vibrant winter menu for the upcoming season.
“We will add stews, soups, casseroles and pies to the menu. It will be a bit of a winter warmer menu,” explained Rachel.
All ingredients are sourced from local butchers and bakeries and the cakes and soups are made on site.
The cafe is open from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 8am to 4pm, and on Fridays from 7.30am to 4pm.
It will be closed from December 24, before opening again on January 2.
