Diss Salvation Army Scout and Guide Group has been given £3,000 from this year’s Lloyds Bank Community Fund annual grants.

Awarded after being voted on by members of the public, the grant will enable the group to buy equipment ranging from parachutes and sports day gear to large garden games.

Liz Hook, Cub Scout leader, said: “The Lloyds Bank Community Fund will make a huge difference by enabling us to offer a wider variety of activities. We also aim to encourage other youth groups to participate with us.”
