A brand new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ darkly comic masterpiece Bleak House is hitting the stage at Diss Corn Hall later this month.
The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons theatre company will retell the classic Dickens tale in a new inimitable style, with a company of only five actor-musicians collaborating to bring the story’s cast of more than 50 characters to life.
Described by some as one of the finest detective stories in English literature, Bleak House is known for its powerful female protagonists, interweaving web of mysteries and nasty villains, which reviewers claim lends itself to the play’s unique brand of anarchic physical storytelling, improvisation and live music.
The show takes place on Friday, February 27, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Corn Hall box office in St Nicholas Street, by calling 01379 652241 or booking online at www.disscornhall.co.uk
