The Horseshoes in Billingford regains top rating in latest food hygiene inspection
A pub, which was told it needed to make major improvements after scoring one out of five in its last food hygiene rating, has won back its top grading.
The Horseshoes, in Lower Street in Billingford, has been awarded a five-star classification after a new inspection by South Norfolk Council on September 26.
The main failings found by South Norfolk Council at its previous inspection in June were related to inadequate food hygiene training for food handlers, and also in relation to identifying hazards and risks.
It resulted in the pub’s rating being downgraded to one star.
