Pat Lewis Peugeot dealership in Palgrave is confirmed as closed
A Peugeot dealership which has stood in Palgrave for 25 years has ceased trading.
The future of the Pat Lewis dealership, in Rose Lane, had been called into question last week after a sign was placed in the door claiming it was closed.
A new sign has confirmed its closure.
It reads: “Sorry we have closed and ceased trading.
“The directors and staff would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the past 25 years.
“All inquiries to be directed to Parker Andrews, 2-4 Queens Street, Norwich, NR2 4SQ.”
The Diss Express has contacted Pat Lewis, the Peugeot head office, and Norwich-based insolvency practitioners Parker Andrews, but no comments have been received at the time of going to press.
The Pat Lewis website remains down.
The dealership had been recognised for excellence in customer service, having received the Gold Lion award on numerous occasions.
The Diss Express had reported in May 2014 how the dealership was celebrating after its fleet and business department had grown by 50 per cent in the past year.
The garage had also supported Suffolk Police catalytic converter marking days in the past, having hosted the events at their Palgrave premises.
