Motorists facing severe delays around A140 as multiple roadworks take place at the same time
Motorists are facing severe delays of up to 40 minutes as multiple roadworks take place on and around the A140.
Tailbacks stretch the length of the A140 between Dickleburgh and Scole, which then extend between Scole and Eye roundabout at the A143, with carriages reduced to a single lane,
According to roadworks.org, work is being carried out by BT from A140 New Road to Norwich Road, Scole to install sub-duct and cabling.
It will last until February 1.
Roadworks are also being carried by BT until today on A140 Norwich Road, Stuston.
BT are also carrying out work on the B1118 Stradbroke Road, Syleham until Friday, January 25, as well as on Syleham Road, Hoxne, and Stradbroke Road, Syleham, and on the B1118 Green Street - all of which involves two-way traffic lights.
Cadent, meanwhile are carrying out out essential gas maintenance on Norwich Road, Scole until February 8 to ensure it provides safe and reliable gas supplies to local businesses and residents.

UK Power Networks are carrying out works on the B1077 Eye Road, Brome and Oakley, Suffolk, until February 1.
Two-way traffic lights are in place.
Work which was due to be complete today on the A1066 Victoria Road, Diss, is now scheduled to end on Friday, January 25.
This involves the multiway and two way lights and a temporary no left hand turn into Vinces Road to enable civil work and the trenchless relining of 425m of existing sewer
