Man arrested in connection with cash theft in Diss




Police have now identified two men they wanted to speak to following a cash theft in Diss.

Officers issued a CCTV image of two men they wanted to trace following an incident in the Market Place between 10.30am and 11.45am on Tuesday, December 10 when the victim, a man aged in his 90s, withdrew a large quantity of cash from a cash machine.

A while later, he realised the money had been stolen.

Both men have been now been identified and a man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He remains in police custody. Enquiries continue.
