Harleston’s latest salute to the swifts

How well do you know your flags? Can you spot the odd ones out in Harleston’s latest salute to the swifts as they begin their long migration to Africa?
Forty flags made from the designs of African flags are flying in the town. But organisers from Harleston’s Future have included some flags belonging to other countries and are waiting to see who can pick them out. “There’s no prize - just a challenge to see how well you know your flags,” said volunteer Ian Carstairs. Answers will be posted on the Birds Seen board at the Swan Hotel.
The flags are part of a programme encouraging swifts to Harleston. Fifty-five new nest boxes have been sited and more are planned next summer.
