Harleston Jobs Club is set to continue after receiving a grant award of £5,000.

The money from Mid Suffolk District Council means the service, formed in 2009 and based in Exchange Street, can offer a wide range of free support to jobseekers.

This includes helping to search and apply for jobs, CV writing, interview tips, and covering letter and application form advice.

Lucy Marjoram, Jobs Club Coordinator, said: “We pride ourselves on our friendly, relaxed, and informal atmosphere.

“We know how difficult and challenging job searching can be and we do our best to try and relieve some of that pressure.

“Members who attend our Club range from 17 through to 64 years of age and offer encouragement and support to each other.”

The job club is open every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm and welcomes jobseekers from Norfolk and Suffolk.
