Double award delight for Turners Occupational Health and Wellbeing in Attleborough

A business founder praised her team’s dedication and passion after winning a second accolade in as many months.

Turners Occupational Health and Wellbeing in Attleborough was named Small Business of the Year in the Health and Wellbeing category at the East of England Small Business Awards.

It comes just weeks after founder and director Tracy Turner was named Entrepreneurial Businesswoman of the Year in the sustainability and impact category of The Great British Businesswoman Awards.

A jubilant Mrs Turner said: “I am absolutely thrilled that Turners has been recognised with this award.

“This achievement is a testament to the incredible team I have around me, whose passion and dedication make everything we do possible.”

The award celebrates businesses in the health and wellbeing space, including health clinics, fitness studios and wellness centres.

Judges for the accolade said that Turners stood out for its commitment to service excellence, community support and innovative health and wellbeing initiatives.

The business was started by Mrs Turner, a former nurse with 40 years’ experience, from her kitchen table.

Having retired from a national occupational health company in 2017, boredom quickly set in, so she decided to launch her own business.

“I started doing management referrals, and gradually increased the workload until I could afford to take on my son, Harry, and it just grew from there,” she said.

The thriving business offers a range of health and wellbeing services, including counselling, menopause support and ear and foot healthcare, thanks to a team of 14 staff.

Collecting her latest award, Mrs Turner was joined on stage by her son, Harry, who is also a director of the business.

“I want to thank our customers and the local community for their continued support,” said the 64-year-old. “It means the world to us.

“We are committed to making a difference in people’s lives, and this award is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.”
