Harleston business marks 30 years after adapting to changing market and becoming international force

With decades of experience behind it, a removals company is celebrating hitting a 30-year milestone later this month.

Hamilton’s Removals Ltd is a three-generation family business running out of Harleston.

The company is running an online quiz to give a little back to the public to celebrate a business which bases its success on its staff.

“Our staff are the key to our success,” said managing director Michael Sawyer, 52.

“No single person is more important than another, and everyone has an essential role.

“Lots of our staff have been here many years, and I think that’s a great sign for any company.

“We started out selling furniture, but when that became more difficult, we adapted, focused on removals and have now grown to become an international business, with almost 60 employees.”
