Body found in River Waveney is named

A 40-year-old man, who was found dead in the River Waveney in November last year has been named.
Police were called at around 1.10pm, on November 26, by a member of the public and located Jason Mayhew at Riverside Place, next to Wortham Ling in Roydon, near Diss.
A large number of police vehicles attended the scene, including fire crews from Diss and Thetford.
River rescue specialists with a recovery boat were also called to assist police at the river.
Norfolk Police treated the death as unexplained but not suspicious and the inquest into his death will take place on Friday, May 15.
