Craft Aesthetics is introducing microblading, one of the world's hottest beauty trends, to Diss
A beautician has introduced one of the world’s hottest beauty trends to Diss.
Craft Aesthetics is offering microblading, a semi-permanent make-up technique.
The cosmetic treatment deposits pigment into the skin via a hand-held tool and tiny blades of varying sizes to enhance the natural look of eyebrows.
Andrea Orton, owner of the business in Victoria Road, said: “This treatment can be for aesthetic reasons but it can also be essential to those who have experienced hair loss.”
The 41-year-old massage therapist has always had a passion for make-up and has been adding several beauty treatment skills to her repertoire over the years.
She said: “I studied art when I was younger and had a fascination with faces and beauty looks.
“As someone who loved cosmetic enhancement and the visual change to someone’s look, semi-permanent make-up offers me the ultimate canvas.”
Craft Aesthetics offers a natural look of hair strokes – hardly detectable lines resembling hairs – and the bolder powder brow, giving the effect that make-up has been applied.
Andrea advises that anyone considering having the treatment to carry out some careful research first into the provider.
“Sterile equipment from newly opened products and tailored after-care advice are just a few things to look out for.”
Eyebrow treatments at Craft Aesthetics start from £200.
