Diss United Reformed Church receives award for its Dove Dementia Café

A Diss church has been recognised for its work in the community.

Diss United Reformed Church received an award from the Congregational Insurance/National United Reformed Church.

The church runs the Dove Dementia Café, for those with dementia and their carers; Dove Song, a singing group for those with dementia and those recovering from strokes; Dove Song Plus, a singing group for those with complex needs, living in local residential homes and cared for at home.

It also runs a weekly Welcome Café, which is open to all.
