UPDATE: Diss confident of beating weather but Scole match is off

Diss Town are confident of beating the weather ahead of hosting King’s Lynn Town in a Norfolk Senior Cup quarter-final tie, but Scole United have seen their match at Wroxham called off.

The Norfolk duo were both aiming to cause an upset and take a step closer to the showpiece final at Norwich City’s Carrow Road stadium.

However, Scole will have to wait for their chance of securing a semi-final berth after their seeing their match postponed.
