Harleston Town secure the services of former Dereham Town striker Ryan Crisp
Harleston Town have pulled off a transfer coup with the arrival of Ryan Crisp.
The experienced forward has arrived at Wilderness Lane following his recent departure from Step 4 outfit Dereham Town, who are managed by former Harleston favourite Adam Gusterson.
Crisp scored 70 goals in 187 appearances for Dereham, but decided that the travelling demands of the Pitching In Isthmian League North Division had become too much.
The striker, who has previously had trials with the likes of Ipswich Town, West Bromwich Albion and Dagenham & Redbridge, could make his Harleston debut during Saturday's trip to Blofield United (2.30pm).
Joint Harleston boss Jon Abbott said: “We’re delighted to get Ryan on board. He brings the experience in front of goal we’re looking for.”
