Experienced duo agree Diss moves

Diss Town boss Jason Cook has continued to shape his squad for the upcoming season with the additions of Paul Betson and Steve Holder.

Midfielder Betson arrives at Brewers Green Lane with a vast amount of experience, having featured in three FA Vase finals for AFC Sudbury.

The veteran has also turned out for Newmarket Town and most recently Lakenheath.

Holder, meanwhile, has been recruited to bolster Diss' attacking ranks.

He ended last season with Mildenhall in the Bostik League North Division, with the likes of Bury Town, Stowmarket Town and Newmarket also on his playing CV.

Potentially crucially for Diss, both players have previously been a part of sides that have won promotion from the Thurlow Nunn League First Division – Betson with Newmarket and Holder with Stowmarket.
