Fram pupils called-up

Framlingham College is celebrating after four pupils were selected by England Hockey as part of the Under-18 assessment squads.

Rose Winter, Lottie Summers and Ollie Juszt are no strangers to international hockey, having all represented their country at Under-16 level.

Winter and Juszt also made numerous appearances for England Under-18s in 2018.

There is also a first international call-up for Georgie Gardens, who has been an impressive performer for Framlingham, having represented the Under-14s while in Year 7 and captaining them to the National Finals last season.

She is now a regular XI player and is hoping to go from strength to strength after receiving international recognition.

Jamie Kingstone, Head of Hockey at the College, said: “I am delighted for these four outstanding hockey players.

“They are a real credit to the school and to themselves as they continually strive to become the very best they can be.

“A special mention must go to Georgie on her first international call-up.”
