RFU award for Fram College pupil
Harry Rowland was recently presented with a Rugby Football Union award for his contribution to the Young Rugby Ambassadors (YRA) programme.
The Framlingham College student joined 60 other youngsters at the awards event, which was hosted at Twickenham Stadium.
British and Irish Lions legend John Spencer, who is the RFU president, took charge of proceedings, while current England captain Dylan Hartley was the special guest and handed out the awards.
Rowland was recognised for his refereeing performances in county and regional matches, as well as showing support for National Festivals and the ABF Soldier’s Charity,
In addition, the 16-year-old was also highly commended in the YRA of the Year category.
Rowland also plays rugby for Framlingham and despite his young age is already a capped Denmark Under-18 international – the country of his mother’s birth.
He made his international debut in April versus Sweden.
