Felixstowe & Walton United swoop to sign Walsham-le-Willows attacker Ethan Garcia

One of the star performers of Walsham-le-Willows’ last two seasons – Ethan Garcia – has accepted an invitation to test himself at a higher level.

From his 34 appearances during the 2023/24 campaign, the winger found the back of the net on 18 occasions to finish the term as the club’s joint leading scorer.

And he backed that up in 2024/25 as Walsham embarked on a club-record run in the FA Vase alongside reaching the final of the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division play-offs. This time Garcia fired in 17 goals, one short of team-mate and top marksman Reon Huckvale.

And those statistics have captured the attention of Isthmian League North Division outfit Felixstowe & Walton United, who have reached an agreement to sign the attacker.

A statement on the club’s social media channels read: “We’re pleased to announce the signing of Ethan Garcia from Walsham-le-Willows. A dynamic left/right-sided winger, Ethan was a stand-out performer for Walsham, scoring 17 goals last season, helping them reach the last 32 of the FA Vase – only bowing out on penalties to eventual winners Whitstable Town – and playing a key role in their push to the Thurlow Nunn League play-off final.

“Exciting, skilful and hard-working – we can’t wait to see him in Felixstowe & Walton red.”

Garcia is the third new addition to have recently been announced by the Seadsiders after Jacob Lay (Needham Market) and Ollie Canfer (Bury Town).
