Pulham St Mary woman, 34, handed a 12 month suspended prison sentence for drug offences
A woman has been handed a 12 month prison sentence suspended for two years for drug offences.
Emma Rumsey, 44, of Chestnut Road, Pulham St Mary, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to:
• Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine
• Concerned in supply of cocaine
• Possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis
• Concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis
Rumsey was sentenced to 12 months in prison suspended for two years, ordered to complete a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement of seven days, as well as undertake 120 hours unpaid work.
Officers executed a warrant at the property on August 30 2023, in which they located containers of suspected class A and class B drugs, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Rumsey was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, later being charged with a number of drug offences.
She appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on November 1 last year and was bailed to Norwich Crown Court on January 15 2025, where she pleaded guilty to all four charges.
