Woman, 27, named as Stoke Ash crash victim
A 27-year-old Bulgarian woman who died following a car crash in Stoke Ash last week has been named by police.
Katerina Kostadinova was travelling in the back seat of a Volkswagen Golf at 5am on July 6, when it collided with a Peugeot Boxer van on the A140, near to the junction with Church Lane.
Fire crews had to extract Miss Kostadinova, along with the two other occupants in the car, who are currently being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
The man driving the van was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment, but has since been discharged.
In a post online, her former co-worker Irinel Bahica paid tribute to Miss Kostadinova, who was originally from Burgas, Bulgaria.
He said: “She was a very cheerful person, she was never sad – she will remain that person in my heart, as an angel watching over us.”
