Shimlas Indian Restaurant, in Exchange Street, Attleborough, shuts after 16 months

A town’s Indian restaurant has closed its doors after 16 months.

Shimlas Indian Restaurant, in Exchange Street, Attleborough, announced ‘with heavy hearts’ that it had served its final meals on its Facebook page.

The venue said, while it was ‘goodbye for now’, it hoped its dishes had left customers with ‘with memories as warm as the spices we served’.

The statement said: “Serving the Attleborough community with authentic Indian flavors, from cozy dine-in experiences to your favorite takeaways, has been an incredible journey.

“We’ve loved being part of your special moments, celebrations, and everyday meals. Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and supporting us along the way.

“Each one of you made Shimla’s feel like more than just a restaurant. We’ll forever cherish the memories shared within these walls.”
