The Falcon in Pulham Market will not be opening as planned after ‘further ‘ issues found

A village pub will not be reopening as planned, it has been announced.

The Falcon in Pulham Market, The Green, was due to open this Friday with live music.

A series of events and special evenings had also been lined up including poker and quiz nights, an open mic night and special drinks evenings.

However, an announcement on social media says: “Unfortunately, our opening has to be postponed again.

“This is because we have uncovered further issues.

“We want Pulham Falcon to be a great addition to Pulham and find its way into the community.

“We have not taken the decision lightly to keep the pub closed, but the works we are completing are necessary.

“We thank you all for your patience and understanding and look forward to welcoming you soon.”

Landlord Simon Musk added: “We don’t know when we will open, as yet, but we just want to get it right for the community.”

It’s understood the issues relate to the refurbishment works.
