UPDATE: Post mortem to be carried out today following death of woman in Diss

A post-mortem examination will be carried out today following the death of a woman in Diss.

Officers were called at approximately 10.15am yesterday following concerns for the occupant of an address in Whytehead Gardens.

After entering the property officers found the body of a woman in her 60s, and who had died before their arrival.

The woman has been named locally as Helen Pemberton, a retired accountant.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Whytehead Gardens is made up of sheltered housing bungalows.
