UPDATE: Man suffers serious injury in Winfarthing collision




A man in his 60s remains in Addenbrooke's hospital with a serious head injury after a road traffic collision.

Emergency services were called shortly after 3pm yesterday (October 15) to reports of an incident that took place on the B1077.

The driver of a blue Kia Rio which was travelling from Attleborough towards Winfarthing and a grey Ford Mondeo, coming from the opposite direction were in collision at Short Green.

The driver of the Ford, a man in his 50s, was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the driver of the Kia Rio was taken to hospital.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended, but reopened around 9pm.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the driving manner of either vehicle prior to the collision or has dash-cam footage of the incident.
