Attleborough Players set to bring fairy tale to life

A dame and a giant cat may be an unlikely pairing, but that did not stop them wooing the crowds at the switch-on of Attleborough’s Christmas lights last week.

Joshua Johnson and Kayleigh Poacher, otherwise known as Dame Dabidosie and Puss in Boots, were part of the celebrations with the Attleborough Players.

To advertise the group’s pantomime, Puss in Boots, which is on at Spooner Row Village Hall on February 5, 9, 10 and 11, the pair also visited some of the town’s businesses and St Mary’s Church.

People also had the chance to have their picture taken with two of the stars of the show.

Players member Vicky Aukett said: “We wanted to show some community spirit and support some of the amazing shops, businesses and organisations in Attleborough, so we thought a town walkabout would be the ideal opportunity.”
