Wattisfield spring fair at community centre raises £300




A community charity held its first large event of the year, raising around £300.

Wattisfield Community Centre, which operates out of the village hall, hosted a spring fair and family fun day on April 6.

Hall chairman and charity patron Martyn Dove said the day was a huge success.

“It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves at our small village hub,” he said. “It was our first event of 2024 and there are definitely more on the way.

“I would thank everyone who supports the hub. We created it for the community and it is particularly pleasing that we can put on events like this here.”
