Diss Infant Academy and Nursery School temporarily closes due to electrical problem




Diss Infant Academy and Nursery School has been forced to close temporarily after an electrical fault caused a loss of power across the site.

Engineers have attended the school in an attempt to resolve the problem, with the school offering regular updates to parents on progress.

Jo Cerullo, Executive Headteacher of Diss Infant Academy and Nursery School said: “Unfortunately, we have had to close Diss Infant School due to an electrical fault resulting in loss of electricity throughout the site.

"The engineers are working hard to fix the problem. Following our successful home learning provision during Covid lockdowns, pupils are able to access their lessons via Google classrooms or tapestry."
