The Rotary Club of High Suffolk’s annual Santa Sleigh tour proved very popular once again, raising almost £2,500 throughout December.
The sleigh toured Eye, Debenham, Stradbroke and Framlingham over five separate evenings, distributing sweets to children and their parents awaiting its arrival while it was backed by Christmas Carols.
Proceeds raised by Rotary Club members during the tour will be distributed between the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) and Suffolk Family Carers.
Following this latest drive, the Rotary Club of High Suffolk’s overall contribution to Christmastide has now passed the £30,000 mark since it began collection 20 years ago.
