One and a half million roses are blooming in South Norfolk , leaving the fields awash with colour.
The fields can be found between Harleston, Starston and Pulham St Mary and will hold their hues through the remainder of the summer.
Each crop of hand grafted plants takes two years to grow before being lifted for sale to mail order retailers, or up to a further year when potted and grown on for distribution to garden centres.
Due to increased production numbers, the company that grows the roses is taking on trainee rose growers and machinery operators.
