Year 3 and 4 pupils at Riddlesworth Hall Preparatory School experienced the wonders of nature first hand last half term with their lifecycles project involving ducklings, tadpoles and plants.
The children have been incubating a number of mixed breed fertilized duck eggs, donated by Potters of Weybread, with many of them hatching during the last week of half term.
Louise Coates, secretary and registrar, said: “It has been a competition to see which have hatched first.
“It has been an invaluable life lesson for the children and fun has been had watching the magical moments of hatching.”
