Pulham St Mary man charged with drink driving after Harleston crash

A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged with drink driving after a car crashed into a concrete post and hedge in Harleston in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Norfolk Police and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were called to Jays Green, shortly after 12.35am, after a Honda Civic had been involved in a collision at the front of a property.

Driver Toby Bond, of Norwich Road, Pulham St Mary, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and subsequently charged after giving a breath test twice the legal drink-drive limit.

He was bailed and due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 13.
