Post Office propose to move Debenham branch to village’s Co-op store
The Post Office is proposing to move their branch in Debenham, offering a more modern store which would be open for an extra 56 hours a week.
The chain proposes to move the branch from High Street to the East of England Co-operative store in Chancery Lane.
Opening hours would be 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Will Russell, Regional Manager said: “We understand how important having a Post Office is to residents in Debenham and we are confident that this new modern Post Office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future. This modernisation is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”
