Police appealing for witnesses following fatal collision at Tharston and Hapton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Tharston and Hapton last night.

On Tuesday, November 9, officers were called to Forncett Road shortly before 9.30pm following reports that a grey Audi TT had collided with a tree.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance attended the scene and a road closure was put in place.

Despite treatment, the driver, a man aged in his 30s, sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the collision, to come forward.
