Crafters deck Diss Corn Hall with tempting gifts at festive fair

Shoppers did not need a second invitation to start their Christmas shopping nice and early at the weekend.

Diss Corn Hall’s Christmas Craft Fair had 37 stalls showcasing local crafters, makers and sellers on Saturday.

General manager Lee Johnson said it had been a brilliant event, with more than 1,000 people flocking through the doors of the St Nicholas Street venue to enjoy a little retail therapy.

“Our team worked so hard to put on this lovely event for the community and we could not be happier with the day,” he said.

“The Corn Hall was so festive and bustling with so many people looking for those early Christmas presents from our wonderful stallholders.

“We would like to say a big thank you to all the stallholders, to everyone that came and to our team, too, of course.”
