Passengers travelling to and from Diss are experiencing delayed and cancelled trains today.

This is due to a person being hit by a train earlier this morning near Stowmarket.

The affected routes are Ipswich to Norwich, Ipswich to Cambridge and Ipswich to Peterborough.

A Greater Anglia spokesperson said: "Services were disrupted this morning after a person was hit by a train near Stowmarket. Passengers were advised not to travel while the police carried out their investigations."

Train services running through Diss station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected to last until 1pm today.
