Pair of drivers seriously injured and road closed in Haugh Road, Old Buckenham, crash




A serious village crash which saw both drivers seriously injured and a road closed is being investigated by police.

Officers were called to Haugh Road yesterday (March 19) where a white Nissan Juke and black Peugeot 3008 had collided.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance, air ambulance and fire.

Both drivers, a woman aged in her 20s and a woman aged in her 50s, were taken to hospital by land with serious injuries.

The road reopened at 7.44pm.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving prior to the collision.
