Pair assaulted in their car outside Attleborough chip shop

A man and woman were assaulted in their car outside an Attleborough chip shop on Friday.

It happened in Church Street, outside Woody’s Chip Shop, at about 10pm.

The suspect, a woman in her 40s, approached the car and grabbed the female victim, in her late teens, by the hair and verbally abused her, before hitting the man, in his early 20s, in the face.

Both victims suffered minor injuries.
