Nominations for South Norfolk Council’s Community Awards open
Voting for South Norfolk Council’s Community Awards, which celebrate the district’s unsung heroes, has opened.
The annual awards highlight the work of local volunteers who go the extra mile to make a positive difference to people’s lives and the environment.
The awards has nine categories – Healthy and Active, Young Achiever of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Connecting Communities, Environmental Champion, Business in the Community, Community Organisation of the Year, Lifetime Achievement and Town or Parish Councillor of the Year.
Cllr Sharon Blundell, chairwoman of the council, said: “It is these community-minded residents that help make South Norfolk such a great place to live, work and visit.”

Nominations close on May 30.
